For more than three decades, Jefferson Animal Hospital in Baton Rouge has been providing exemplary vet services in its state-of-the-art facility. In addition to our caring and experienced veterinarians, we have an onsite laboratory to identify medical issues quickly and an onsite pharmacy for pet medications. Our pet surgical suites are equipped with the finest in veterinarian technology to monitor respiration rate, heart rate, pulse rate and body temperature. We believe in keeping our patients comfortable during surgery, and carefully administer a gas anesthetic and intravenous anesthetic. We always go the extra mile for our furry patients. Even pets who are spayed and neutered are kept overnight for observation. Post-surgery, pet owners are provided with detailed instructions for aftercare and pain medication to keep their pets comfortable while healing.
