Our doctors recommend Hills Science Diet. We also carry a large inventory of Hills Prescription Diet foods. We can also order many other specialty diets that your pet may need.
Microchipping
Your pet deserves to have a permanent form of identification. An AVID microchip could re-unite you with your pet if you were ever separated. This tiny microchip fits through a hypodermic needle and is injected under the skin of your pet where it remains safely for life. This inexpensive procedure can be done at any time.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
If an emergency occurs outside of our regular business hours, we are affiliated with the Baton Rouge Pet Emergency Hospital, located at 1514 Cottondale Drive, 225-925-5566.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
