Dr. Sam Haase and Dr. Frederic Michaelson along with their team are committed to bringing your pet(s) better health.  The Jefferson Animal Hospital was founded in 1979. Since then we have been practicing veterinarian medicine and providing compassionate animal care to the Baton Rouge community. Jefferson Animal Hospital is a full-service Animal Hospital whose mission is to provide the highest quality of health and well being to our patients and to meet the needs of our clients as they relate to their pets.   Jefferson Animal Hospital offers the Baton Rouge animal community state of the art medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care.  Our hospital enables you to make one stop for your pet's medical care because we have an in-house pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology facilities. We also offer wellness care for all stages of your pet's life.  We are open for appointments and drop off service Monday thru Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Please call us to schedule your pet's appointment at 225-927-2344.
